I have been working on this current body of work for the past twelve months using the Lancashire coastline as my subject matter. I have concentrated on three specific locations Southport, Lytham and Arnside.
The paintings are concerned with light and space. When painting on the coast I like to lose myself totally and feel at one with nature immersing myself in the landscape and the process of painting free from people and the noise of cars.
