Up until recently my main interest has been urban landscape and figurative subjects. My current emphasis is on sketching and painting the landscape outdoors and I try as often as possible to work from these drawings/studies in my studio. I have found that no matter which medium I chose to experiment with my natural inclination is always to work in an expressive and spontaneous way.
